Winter 2017 Capsule Collection

This Winter at Hanout Boutique the inspiration is clearly taken from vintage  kilims and beautiful silk brocardes.

A Black leather Jacket embellished with a fabulous berber rug showcase the artistery of the Atlas mountains tribes  and at Hanout Boutique we are proud and passionnate about our  Moroccan heritage.

Then came the Gold Cape cut into a dramatic Gold Brocarde and the result is a stnning piece of clothing .

The Leather handbag embroided and decorated with a Tassel is a lovely addition to our accessories collection.

The Nezha Jumper here photographed in Bordeau is a hand knitted mix of leather and wool and comes in lot of differents colours.

We are very happy with this Capsule collection photographed in this wonderful Riad interior (villafilali) villa with plaster work and Zelig ( Moroccan tiles) giving an other glimpse of the Moroccan artistery.

The inspiration behind the Amira cape comes from the stunning  Black and White fabric originally from Fes. Fes the famous imperial Moroccan city is know for it’s beautiful  hand embroidery called  “Tarz Fassi” in Moroccan. The ” Amira cape “ Fabric is 100% cotton treads weaved Traditionally to reproduce this renown Embroidery. At Hanout Boutique we particularly love its intricate and delicate Pattern that encapsulate the” Ethnic Chic ” Style.

Vintage Kilim Ponchos

Hanout-Boutiqe-Atlas-Kilim-Poncho Hanout-Boutiqe-Riff-Kilim-Poncho-3

Our Moroccan Kilim ponchos are handmade from vintage kilim rugs by skilled artisans in Marrakech. Kilim is a flat weave carpet that features in most Moroccan homes.

We source one by one and we are very often in awe at the beauty and originality of the kilims.

Those two ponchos are part of Hanout’s new Fall collection and are hand embroided by  talented ladies from our Hanout team.

Each piece is unique and those handcrafted kilim ponchos-Atlas Poncho and Riff Poncho- are now sold in our eshop.

Intense, dark ,manipulative, arrogant , rude, emotional but also extremely creative, perfectionist, spiritual, talented and Visionary. He created two of the most iconic brands : Apple and Pixar. His fantastic attention to details and obsessiveness about great and simplified designs gave us devices like the Ipod and the iphone that are so much part of our life that we forget to notice how magics they are.

I was fascinated reading Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson .

As a young entrepreneur two questions he regulary asked interviewing job seeker at Apple:

When did you lost your virginity?

Did you ever took LSD?

If you read one book this year make it this one.
